Christoph Klika

Christoph Klika joined EIPA Maastricht in 2021 as an expert on policy making with a focus on EU and national implementation. Before joining EIPA, Christoph was lecturer at the University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany). Christoph was a visiting fellow at the Centre for European Law and Governance at Cardiff University and a consultant for the Open Society Foundations. As PhD Candidate at Maastricht University, he conducted research on EU policy making and risk regulation.

Throughout his career, Christoph taught extensively on a variety of topics, specialising in European integration, EU policymaking, public administration and implementation from a comparative perspective as well as international relations and EU external action.
