EPSA 2023-24 Preliminary Results 

Following the eligibility check, EPSA evaluators assessed 151 eligible projects against the six evaluation criteria. Each project was scored by two evaluators independently. Based on the respective scoring, the 53 highest scoring projects were selected to be discussed during the Consensus Meeting.

At the Consensus Meeting, which took place on 15 December on the premises of EIPA, Maastricht (NL), the evaluators thoroughly discussed the highest-ranking projects to agree on the winners and Good Practice Certificate recipients in each category.

The following projects were shortlisted as one of the three winning projects per category:

Innovation in Public Administration
  • Portal of Register of administrative procedures – Single window for public services, Public Policy Secretariat of Republic of Serbia, Serbia
  • Smart D8 – A Population Health and Wellbeing Demonstrator in Dublin, Smart D8 Consortium (via Lead Administrative Partner, The Digital Hub Development Agency), Ireland
  • North East Inner City Multi Disciplinary Team (NEIC MDT) Delivering the first interagency Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT) in 10 inner city primary schools in Dublin, National Educational Psychological Service (NEPS), Department of Education, Ireland
Green Transition and Sustainability
  • Baia Mare from a mining and polluted city towards a green, innovative and participatory city: SPIRE – Smart Post-Industrial Regenerative Ecosystem, Baia Mare Municipality, Romania

Digital Transformation

  • Hansken, the open digital forensic platform, Netherlands Forensic Institute, the Netherlands

After the validation visits, the respective organisations have the opportunity to present their project in the online Jury Meeting on 29 February. The Jury decides on 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize per category.

In addition to winners and Good Practice Certificate recipients, evaluators also identified projects with outstanding efforts towards change. While these projects were not among the highest-ranking projects, the efforts demonstrated in the applications nevertheless deserve recognition.
